NEWBURGH-–The Orange County Sustainability Summit, a half-day of exhibits, a panel discussion, a keynote address, lunch, and breakout sessions, will be held Tuesday, March 9 at Mount Saint Mary College.
The event is presented by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Mount Saint Mary College, Orange County Association of Realtors, Orange County Citizens Foundation, Orange County Partnership, Orange County Planning Department, and SUNY Orange. Greenopia, a national directory of ecofriendly retailers, services, and organizations that have been screened for their sustainability, is the consulting organization for the summit. Greenopia founder Gay Browne will be the keynote speaker.
The event, which begins with registration at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m., will be held at the Kaplan Math, Science and Technology Center at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh. Entry is $25. For information, visit orangeny.com or call Roseann at 845-457-9700.
