NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ--Kipcon Inc. recently welcomed Alison Schloemer, LEED AP as a new project manager.
In this role, Schloemer will work towards retrofitting existing buildings and designing new construction to be more energy efficient and sustainable.
A recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Schloemer earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. She was previously employed by Coach Architectural Group in New York City as well as Kaplan, Gaunt, DeSantis Architects in Red Bank, New Jersey.
In addition, Alison Schloemer is a United States Green Building Council's (USGBC) Leader in Environmental and Energy Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). As a LEED AP, Schloemer can provide energy efficient designs for new and existing buildings as well as third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built green according to LEED standards.
While in Pittsburg, Schloemer volunteered for the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh where she helped nonprofit organizations revitalize depressed urban areas.
