NEW WINDSOR, NY--Joseph J. Minuta, lead architect and founder of Minuta Architecture PLLC, has announced that two members of his team have recently earned the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Professional Accreditation.
Samantha Schoenberger, of New Windsor, an architecture intern at Minuta Architecture, passed the required LEED AP credentialing exam demonstrating her thorough understanding of green building practices and principles earning her LEED AP accreditation. Debra Evans, of Salisbury Mills, a New York State Certified Interior Designer, completed the
requirements and passed the LEED exam for Commercial Interiors.
LEED Professional Accreditation recognizes building professionals who have exhibited the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully steward the LEED certification process.
LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System and passed the required certification exam.
Schoenberger is a graduate of SUNY Alfred's architectural engineering program and is currently completing her required five year architectural internship with Minuta Architecture. She has made sustainability and environmentally responsible building and design a focus of her work.
Evans is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and graduate of Cornell University with more than 20 years of both commercial and residential interior design experience.
