ROSELAND, NJ-- WolfBlock is pleased to announce that Frances B. Stella has been elected a partner of the firm.
Stella, resident in the firm’s Roseland office, was formerly counsel in WolfBlock’s Environmental and Land Use Practice Group.
Stella has 17 years of experience in federal and state environmental litigation and regulatory work. She focuses her environmental practice in site remediation under CERCLA and state programs; natural resource damage claims; hazardous waste litigation and mediation; cost recovery/contribution litigation; environmental insurance coverage litigation; environmental compliance, enforcement and permitting; and environmental investigations and audits.
Stella handles site remediation negotiations with both state and federal environmental agencies and contracts with and supervises environmental consulting firms to develop and implement remedial activities. She counsels clients through the redevelopment process for Brownfield sites. She also serves as common counsel for PRP groups at Superfund sites.
Stella is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New York. She received her J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1991 and her B.A. from the University of Vermont in 1984.
