TRENTON, N.J.--Anastasia Harrison, AIA, LEED, IAQA will join Dr. Mitchell Joachim on Saturday June 7 for the launch of Green, Smart, and Sustainable Stakeholder Education and Training.
Anastasia will conduct a presentation, "Practical Greening Practices for Family Health: Indoor Air Quality Challenges and Opportunities."
Harrison is a licensed and LEED certified architect and one of the first indoor air quality certified professionals in the state. Indoor air is that which we breathe in our 'built' environment, e.g., homes, hospitals, businesses. In the case of children, this might be their home, daycare center, school, sports arena, or recreational building. There is widespread agreement that children today spend up to 90% of their time indoors, therefore making this exposure a substantial one.
The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) is a nonprofit, multi-disciplined organization, dedicated to promoting the exchange of indoor environmental information, through education and research, for the safety and well being of the general public.
