ALBANY--The second national conference for educators and instructors providing training in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries and trades will take place March 18 -20, 2008 at Hudson Valley Community College outside of Albany, New York.
Two days of conference sessions will deal with some of the best practices and teaching models for a wide variety of renewable energy and energy efficiency jobs. The conference will focus on practitioner training. There will be a series of technical workshops before the conference starts.
Renewable energy and energy efficiency markets are taking off leading to increased job opportunities and student interest. This conference will focus on instructional strategies, curricula development, and related training and market trends. It is suitable for schools, institutions, organizations or companies involved in training, or those planning to start a renewable energy or energy efficiency training program, (degree granting, certificate, continuing education, public education, and/or certification/licensure).
