Green$ense 2008 Comes To Pittsburgh By Betsy Kraat

PITTSBURGH-- Green$ense 2008, the annual day-long conference hosted by the Green Building Alliance on the financial benefits and best business practices related to green building, will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Wednesday, March 5.

The regional coverage area for conference attendees includes Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

"This year's theme of 'Capture Your Share of the Green Market' focuses on strategies for seasoned professionals and newcomers in the rapidly expanding green market," explained Green Building Alliance education manager Diane Bossart.

Green$ense 2008 features two keynote addresses, breakout sessions and case studies with nationally recognized experts, exhibit booths displaying green building products, and an afternoon tour of the Bakery Square project. The conference opens with a welcome and introduction by Green Building Alliance executive director Rebecca Flora, AICP, LEED AP who is also the 2008 board chair of the U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) at 8:00 am and concludes with a 4 pm tour.
