Cohen Joins CBRE As VP; Will Organize Brownfield Group By Betsy Kraat

EAST BRUNSWICK--CB Richard Ellis announced the appointment of Paul D. Cohen as first vice president with the responsibility of organizing the firm's Brownfield Practice Group.

In this capacity, Cohen and his group will identify, classify, catalogue and market New Jersey's inventory of contaminated and brownfield sites estimated to total in excess of 10,000 parcels by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis in October 2007, Paul was employed for 28 years as executive vice president with SBWE, Inc., where he managed the company's central New Jersey office. Paul previously had served as vice president of marketing for International Appraisal Company, a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Fleet Bank. He is a member of the Industrial and Office Real Estate Association and the National Brownfield Association, serves as a lecturer at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education of the New Jersey State Bar Association and for the New Jersey Institute of Technology in matters relating to Brownfield Redevelopment. He also has published articles relating to the marketing of Brownfield properties in Brownfield News and other periodicals.
