CEO of GreenHunter Energy Keynote Speaker At Symposium By Betsy Kraat

NEW YORK CITY--Gary C. Evans, founder and CEO of GreenHunter Energy, Inc., will make a keynote presentation entitled "Alternative Energy -- A Former Oil Man's Renewed Perspective" at the
Alternative Energy Investment Symposium in New York City at 8:30 a.m. today.

Evans' presentation will reflect on the present state of the alternative energy sector and includes a look at current levels of domestic and international renewable energy production, provides comparisons of biodiesel and ethanol as earth-friendly motor fuels, and summarizes global investment in wind energy, solar energy, biofuels and biomass.

Evans speaks from the perspective of a former oil and gas operator who has "jumped the fence" to assemble a portfolio of alternative energy production businesses, including building the largest U.S. biodiesel refinery located in Houston, developing wind farms in the Midwest and western states, and upgrading a biomass electrical generation plant in Southern California that will be fueled by cow manure and wood waste.

The Alternative Energy Investment Symposium begins today at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Midtown Manhattan. The symposium is sponsored by Oil and Gas Investor, the Global Biofuels Center and The Deal LLC.
