NEW YORK--Floorworks International, a Toronto-based company specializing in eco-friendly engineered hardwood flooring, will open its first U.S. showroom in Manhattan in mid-January.
The 2,600-sf facility, called Relative Space, will be located at 2 Bond Street, between Broadway and Lafayette, in NoHo. Relative Space will be New York’s first urban contemporary flooring showroom, devoted to ecologically-advanced wood and carpet products. Floorworks’ exclusive product lines include FUSE, SUMO, Carpet Concepts and Vorwerk.
All Floorworks products possess the functional and aesthetic advantages of traditional wood flooring, but are more efficient, durable, and more environmentally friendly. They are currently used in a variety of environments, including residential, retail, office and hotel.
Floorwork International’s wood collections are designed and manufactured by the company in collaboration with leading architects, interior designers and developers, taking into consideration performance and budgetary criteria imposed by the marketplace.
