KING OF PRUSSIA--O'Neill Properties Group has broken ground on Horizon Corporate Center, the largest green development site ever in the history of the suburban Philadelphia office market.
Horizon Corporate Center will be comprised of six new Class 'A' office buildings, all to be developed
according to United States Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ("LEED") designated standards.
O'Neill Properties will begin construction on Horizon II, a 200,000 sf LEED designated office building, the first of six at Horizon Corporate Center. The construction of Horizon II represents the second of O'Neill Properties' five phases of development. Horizon I, a 128,000-sf Class 'A' office building, is 100% leased by companies including International SOS, Strayer University, Stanford Brown Institute, Full Spectrum and NewarkInOne.
Horizon Corporate Center is located in Bucks County, PA, along the high tech and life sciences growth corridor stretching from Philadelphia to Princeton. As the former site of the Eastern State Hospital and a reclaimed brownfield, the site is currently home to an existing Class 'A' Office Building, Horizon I, as well as 40,000 sf of retail space. Upon completion, Horizon Corporate Center will contain, more than 1.2 million sf of green Class 'A' office space.
