Rutgers University Announces Eco-Friendly Initiavtive By Jodi LaMarco

Richard McCormick, president of Rutgers University, announced the institute's eco-friendly and money-saving plan on Friday, September 28.  

The program includes the construction of solar farm with the potential to save $700,000 every year, and a program to replace lighting fixtures as well as hot water pipes. New Jersey's public institutions are required to reduce emissions by 80 percent by 2050.
