Under the Waves

Tuvalu, a small island in the Pacific Ocean, may disappear within 30 to 50 years as water levels rise due to climate change.
Deputy Prime Minister Tavau Teii says, "All countries must make an effort to reduce their emissions before it is too late for countries like Tuvalu."
The island has a population of approximately 10,000 people.
