Chrysler Switches Gears By Jodi LaMarco

Chrysler LLC has said it will create a new unit within its company called "Envi" that will focus on the development of more environmentally conscious cars and trucks.

"Envi," short for "environment," will work to develop electric and hybrid vehicles. The company is making an effort to catch up with the eco-friendly car movement, having formerly relied on truck and SUV sales.
