Here Comes the Sun By Jodi LaMarco

The Solar Energy Consortium, a project aiming to exploit the sun's energy as a renewable power source, will be moving into TechCity in the town of Ulster.

After IBM left TechCity, the area remained largely unused, but renewed interest in the complex means that new tenants will be setting up shop in an established facility rather than clearing land to build their own.

Ned Sullivan of environmentalist group Scenic Hudson is enthusiastic about the Solar Energy Consortium's choice: "Our green space, our forest areas, should be preserved as open space and used for public and recreational use."
