A Tree Grows In China By Jodi LaMarco

China plans to increase the acreage of trees it will use to fuel power plants and produce biodiesel to 13.3 million hectares by 2020.

Environmental problems have inspired the country to seek non-coal energy sources. The trees are likely to yield more than six million tones of biodiesel every year and raise generator capacity by 15 gigawatts.
