DuPont Invests in Biofuel By Jodi LaMarco

In partnership with BP, DuPont plans to build the first biobutanol demonstration facility in hopes of producing fuel from feedstocks such as wheat and corn.

The company will also hold a 10 percent share of an ethanol plant jointly owned by BP and British Sugar Owner Associated British Foods Plc., each of which will own 45 percent.

DuPont has announced that it will invest $58 million in the proposed projects.
