Carbon Funeral By Jodi LaMarco

The Ministry of Oil and Energy in Norway has signed agreements with five energy companies in an effort to build a testing center for carbon capture and storage.

The new facility will be tested at Mongstad oil refinery, as well as a heat and power station currently under construction. Odd Roger Enoksen, Norway’s Oil and Energy Minister, said, “The government’s vision is to contribute to developing technology which will reduce cost and lead to a widespread use of carbon capture and storage technology.”
